LED Tubes
These LED tubes are engineered to deliver exceptional flexibility in both performance and installation. They are available in single or double-ended wiring configurations and can operate as a UL Type A lamp with an instant start ballast or as a UL Type B lamp in a ballast bypass setup. Each tube is fully safety certified for either installation method.
For plug-and-play applications, the tubes install directly into existing fixtures without modifying the fluorescent ballast wiring. Simply replace the fluorescent lamps with the LED tubes. If the instant start ballast eventually fails, it can be removed and the same LED tube can be rewired to operate directly from line voltage—eliminating the need to purchase a new lamp.
For ballast bypass installations, the tube connects directly to 120–277V line voltage in accordance with the provided wiring diagram. These lamps are compatible with most instant start electronic ballasts, and replacement lamp holders are available if required.
ComboDrive Benefits
- Saves time with plug and play design; no rewiring needed
- Saves energy compared to their fluorescent counterparts
- Reduces maintenance and replacement costs with a longer lifespan
- Provides convenience with flexible installation options
- Reduces stocking needs for distributors
- Offers Type B functionality if ballast fails in Type A application
LED Tube Benefits
- T8 LED lamps use significantly less power than traditional fluorescent tubes, helping reduce electricity consumption and lower utility bills.
- LED T8 lamps typically last much longer than fluorescent alternatives, which reduces maintenance frequency and replacement costs.
- Many models offer dual-mode capability (ballast-compatible and ballast bypass), allowing for easier upgrades and future flexibility.
- Provides consistent, flicker-free illumination with multiple color temperature options to suit different environments.
- Longer operating life and durable construction minimize labor and material expenses over time.
- Unlike fluorescent lamps, LED T8 tubes do not contain mercury and produce less waste over their lifetime.
